Have you come across this house by Norm Architects before? It is located near the three lakes that separate Copenhagen's city center from the outer boroughs. It might appear pretty much standard for its location from the outside but its interior reveals a totally different quality. A very white, clean and minimal one; a refuge from the busy outside city centre! This interior is the definition of less is more, and personally I totally adore it. Could you see yourself living like this or do you prefer your homes more lived in?

  1. I love Scandinavian homes for their spacious layouts and lots of natural light. Personally, I would add a bit of colour and texture to this home to make it a bit more cosy, but I know, this is my very personal approach:-) I could live in the nursery though LOL

    1. I think it's beautiful but I agree with you Igor, It lacks a little bit of cozyness

    2. I think it is the kind of house that would look good with lots of colour in it or plain black and white!

  2. Yes! I remember this apartment I featured too at my blog because I loved it, too much white to handle but I can make the sacrifice for an apartment like this : )

    1. I love white so it does not bother me, I actually like the exaggeration!

  3. Wow I've never seen this it's beautiful. I especially love that it appears to be uniform from the outside but has this beautifully minimal look inside. Personally I couldn't live in a house like this because it's too sterile; it doesn't look like people can live here XD It's beautiful but the furniture looks uncomfortable and it's too sparse/not "homey" enough. But i love seeing different interiors because I can take inspiration from everything. Thanks for sharing :)

    1. I know what you mean, maybe if it was a weekend or summer house it would make more sense! It is definitely inspiring and beautiful anyhow!

  6. i love the way the colours pop against the white! I am in the middle of painting my house white throughout and am loving it! Love rainbow colour against it! Can't do the minimalist thing myself though....kids, pets, house trashing syndromes and collecting genes all reside under my roof...not to mention messy art projects and studios, but certainly do appreciate this in others homes x
