You might like your homes very minimal or more lived in, but in either case I think that most of us would agree to happily move into here! This house is in Okinawa, Japan and is designed by Shinichi Ogawa & Associates. ''The intent of the design and layout is to minimize on the division of space as well as to create a lifestyle that is minimal and flexible" (From Shinichi Ogawa). And as to do so this 102 m2 single storey residence has only one formal divider, which is the functional wall unit that holds areas such as the washroom, shower and closets. It is divided in three living quarters that are laid out as single arrangements to make use of the long and narrow plot; the courtyard, the bedroom/ living/ dinning area, and the study/ kitchen/ bathroom area. It is named the Minimalist house of course and is yet another example of the japanese architecture at its greatest!
