17/ 52weeks of happy

A Saturday post is a rather rare thing for me, but I am going for it today since my schedule is such a mess anyway, plus I did not want to miss out the list of this week's happy smily occasions!

::  The sun has been shinning sporadically lately and we have enjoyed every second of it! A few walks around the park plus a cup of coffee last Saturday in a sunny cafe down town, we sat by the window and spied on people walking by. A lot of people, I love how busy and cheerful this place gets instantly the minute the sun comes out!

::  It is the greek easter this weekend and my godmother sent me some easter bread in the post, a yummi nibble to accompany my coffee in the morning!

::  The spring cleaning duties are done! Our place is now tidy, clean and decluttered in time to be enjoyed this weekend!

::  I am going through some brainstorming at the moment which does make me happy, a lot of new work for my shop is on its way! I am planning a few changes here too, it should all come together finally!

Lovely Etsy finds

Some more etsy finds recently; this cute little plate Oh hello it is called, to whatever delicious is going to be going in it, cake maybe?! It is made by Rachel Basinger, who is also a fellow cloud enthusiast going by some of her lovely creations! I would suggest that you check her etsy shop Oh no Rachio, you will find more lovely stuff there.

As the spring is catching on sunlight blossoms everywhere outside, I like to see more plants indoors too! The mini hanging planters are a fab display idea! Of course I love them because the actual pots are white (white agrees with me a lot) and also because of the little cording strings and the natural wood beads, such a discreet and balanced addition of colour! They are made by Melissa of Hruskaa

And finally, the instant comfort pocket box of You Can Do Anything (yes you can!) plus a car! A perfect reminder to myself about driving on the left here in Ireland (just in case you are new here I am from Greece and only recently moved to Ireland so I am still pretty insecure of driving on the left side of the road)! It is made by Kim Welling, I am pretty sure most of you know her and her work, Kim Welling also has a fab blog I like to read!

16/ 52weeks of happy

My blog schedule once again is a mess! I have a handful of things to be dealing with at the moment and I find it a bit hard to get around with everything so unfortunately my blog is the one that gets left out while I am trying to keep up with all the other deadlines! And while I did not find much time to write my posts lately, you might have noticed that I kept changing everything around the blog (and I am still not convinced about the looks of it)! It must be the spring, it totally drives me nuts and I keep swapping between ideas and projects and I really need more hours in a day to finish everything! And while all this is happening around here of course there were a lot of small things that made me smile too, like

::  The feeling of drinking cold chocolate straight from the bottle on a warm sunny day.

::  Sending out a few of my first prints in the post.

::  Watching the Spiral/ series four, in my favourite language (French that is, possibly the only language that swearing actually sounds nice)!

::  Noticing that nature around us is starting to blossom!

Nature in our home

There was sunshine and lots of daisies in the garden and everywhere on the green grass! I made a bouquet out of them brought them back into the house and put them in a tiny glass. I have not decided if it is the beauty of these tiny flowers I like the most in my pictures or how nice the sun was shining that afternoon!

Busy yellow days

Busy days, some bits lately in the house, rain clouds flying fast and sun shinning for a while, a cardigan I got myself, eating blackberries, new cards to be added in the shop and I am starting to like yellow a lot again which is always a good sign!

Monday

Somewhere between sunshine and dark rainy days, hot and cold, life is getting on in this small Irish town! The days of sunshine my mood is flying the rest of the time I am rather grumpy trying to find the brightest spot in the house and swapping between windows throughout the day. It has been a strange year of many changes so far and I am kind of curious to find out what comes along in the summer season here!
